How We Calculate This

Total watch time = episodes × minutesPerEpisode. Breaks = floor(episodes / breakEvery) × breakDuration. The scheduler simulates time progression, pausing during sleep windows and adding breaks at the specified intervals.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this account for credits/recaps?

Enter the full episode runtime including credits. If you skip intros/recaps, you can subtract a few minutes per episode from your average runtime for a more accurate estimate.

How does the sleep window work?

When enabled, if your viewing would extend into the sleep window (e.g., midnight to 8am), the calculator pauses viewing until the wake-up time. This gives you a realistic multi-day finish time.

What about bathroom/snack breaks?

The scheduled breaks are meant to cover all your pause needs. Set the break frequency and duration based on your habits. Most people take a 10-15 minute break every 2-4 episodes.

Can I use this for movie marathons?

Yes! Set episodes to your number of movies and enter average movie runtime (typically 90-150 minutes). Or use our dedicated Movie Marathon Scheduler for more features.
